Before moving to California Dr. Ziskind practiced law simultaneously at both the litigation and business departments of Goldfarb Seligman & Co., Israel's largest law firm. Recognized for her analytical skills and out-of-the-box thinking, Dr. Ziskind was often assigned to handle high-profile and complex cases.

Dr. Ziskind holds a J.S.D. degree (Doctor of Juridical Science, Ph.D. equivalent), focusing on parental and reproductive rights, as well as an LL.M. degree (Master of Laws) from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. Both her Master thesis and doctoral dissertation were awarded High Honors.

After completing her doctoral degree at UC Berkeley School of Law, Dr. Ziskind held a postdoctoral research fellow position as well as an adjunct professor position, both at Tel-Aviv University, Israel. She has taught a course on medical ethics and the law. She has also researched, written and lectured on topics such as parental decision-making rights, reproductive rights, children and the law, privacy and ethical dilemmas within the family context.

Dr. Ziskind joined Christy, Keith & Donnell Family Law Group, P.C., in 2018. She brings to the firm a unique blend of extensive academic training in law, strong research background and critical legal analysis.

Dr. Ziskind's in-depth knowledge of the law, along with her critical thinking skills, is reflected in her outlook, helps shape her arguments, decision-making and approach to cases, and enhances her practice as a family law attorney.

Dr. Ziskind is fluent in Hebrew and is licensed to practice law in both Israel and California. She lives in the East Bay with her husband and their three children. When she is not working, Dr. Ziskind enjoys experimenting with food and flavors, ballroom dancing and traveling.
